    We encourage those interested in an Administrator in Training role to apply with our organization. This is not an immediate need; based on location, business and preceptor availability, we may have opportunities come available for those pursuing careers in Long-Term Care.  An AIT program provides up to training, pairing an AIT with an experienced, licensed Greystone Executive Director who is a qualified preceptor so they can gain the knowledge and skills necessary to become a licensed nursing home administrator.  AITs receive practical on-the-job training in our long-term care environments under the direct supervision of the experienced Executive Director.

    Administrator-in-Training candidates are required to have a B.S. from an accredited college or university, majoring in health care administration, health services administration, or an equivalent major (or has credit for at least 60 semester hours in subjects, as prescribed by the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators), which prepare the applicant for total management of a nursing home.
