AbleHearts Rehabilitation services are coming soon to Waterford Estates!  We are building a team that will help residents live the life they want and to help them maintain their independence.  Be part of the AbleHearts Rehabilitation multidisciplinary team that will be committed to offering a comprehensive approach to our residents’ care, addressing every aspect of their daily living.

 

Our community has a fabulous opportunity for a driven, passionate, and caring Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). The SLP will:

  • Develop individual treatment programs for our members
  • Provide consultation to the nursing staff
  • Train therapy staff on treatments and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited university program and Certification of Clinical Competency, or in process of C.C.C. post-graduate requirement.
  • Must hold and maintain licensed to practice by the state where our facility is located (FL, IL or MO).
  • One full year of experience in an assisted living facility or similar setting is desired
  • Ability to relate and motivate patients for productivity.
  • Able to cooperate with patients, families, peers, healthcare professionals, administrative personnel and other staff
  • We are a vaccinated care facility. New hires will need to provide proof of vaccination or other acceptable documents prior to starting employment
