    Private Duty Scheduler

    Greystone Private Duty has an opportunity available for a Scheduler in a fast paced growing office! The Scheduler is responsible for managing clerical matters to ensure that documents flow in a coordinated and efficient manner. 



    • Provides assistance to all Private Duty Staff on an ongoing basis with all office tasks.
    • Coordinating the daily schedule for home health aide visits, and maintaining schedules accurate, as well as all documentation regarding scheduling.
    • Accurately process new patient HMO referral information to Intake Team at corporate office. ‘
    • Report schedules to the appropriate staff for all Medicare Showers, such includes, changes, cancelations, refusals.
    • Maintain Schedules for Med Management and Schedule Sup Visits on Adl Ware.
    • Complete ADL referral profile, including client’s demographics, authorizations, Service Plans, etc.
    • Review new client’s chart to assure all documentation is accurate and completed by clinician.
    • Maintain Scheduler’s book updated with all clients information, such as Care Plans, emergency contacts, and schedules.
    • Responsible to send schedules to clients (as needed.)
    • Maintains communication with Private Duty Agency/CNM in accordance with client’s medical needs regarding hospitalizations, changes in care, etc.
    • Assist with maintaining files, supplies, postage and general office condition which consists of the following duties:
    • Verifying clinical visits completed on paper, scan and attach to electronic medical record.
    • Maintains confidentiality of patients and organization information at all times.
    • Maintain log and binder of paperwork received from patients regarding emergency evacuation procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned




    1. At least two (2) years of experience in home health or health care preferred.
    2. High School or equivalent education, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    3. Experience in scheduling preferred.
    4. Knowledge of scheduling software(s) preferred.
    5. Bilingual preferred.
    6. Exhibit good verbal and written communication and public relations skills.
    7. Demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
    8. Knowledge of medical terminology
    9. Personal computer skills
    10. Business machine knowledge
    11. Word processing skills
