As a guest, you will receive individualized therapy and experience the specialized programs at Lady Lake designed to improve balance, strength and mobility. The staff includes compassionate and experienced therapists who are certified and professionally licensed in physical, speech and occupational therapy. Objectively recognized for its commitment to quality care, Lady Lake Specialty Care is a recipient of the Vohra Wound Physicians’ Center of Excellence Award and has been recognized by the Center for Medicare Services as a five-star rated facility.

    Responsibilities

    Our community has an opportunity for a Unit Charge LPN to join our team. We're looking for a driven, caring, and passionate individual to serve as a leader to our excellent nursing staff. Responsibilities of the Unit Charge LPN include:

    • Day-to-day supervision of personnel
    • Participate, as requested, in the interviewing and hiring of nursing personnel
    • Maintaining consistent practices
    • Effectively communicate performance expectations
    • Assign specific duties for customers' care
    • Assign work hours, breaks, and meal periods for nursing personnel on unit
    • Attend & participate in department meetings.

    Qualifications

    Requirements for Unit Charge LPN position:

    • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing and currently licensed by the state of Florida.
    • Must have clinical experience, education, or specialty skills specific to geriatrics.
    • Must have 2 years of direct care experience
    • Additional managerial experience highly preferred
    • Must be able to relate positively and favorably to customers and families and to work cooperatively with others.
    • Related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
