    Recognized as a leader in ortho/neuro rehabilitation, The Lodge is located just blocks away from Ocala Regional and Munroe Regional Medical Center. The newest addition to this facility is the private suites in our skilled rehab unit designed specifically for short term Medicare and HMO members. As a guest at The Lodge, you will receive individualized and compassionate therapy throughout your stay. The community hosts a full service amenity package including skilled rehab, concierge service, Bistro dining, and an internet lounge. Luxurious private suites are offered equipped with electric beds, private phones, and flat panel televisions with cable to make our guests feel at home. 

    Responsibilities

    The responsibilities of the MDS Coordinator include but is not limited to overseeing and coordinating the development and completion of the member assessment (MDS) in accordance with current Federal and state regulations, coordinating and leading the development of a comprehensive member assessment and care plan for each member as chairperson of the community Interdisciplinary Plan of Care team, ensuring the face validity of all Minimum Data Sets before electronic submission and combine the timely electronic submission of all MDS, and conducting a monthly review of a random sample of the MDS to ensure accuracy and internal consistency with the medical records.

    Qualifications

    • Must be an active Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing licensed by the state of Florida.
    • Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Nurse.
    • Must have knowledge in PPS assessment as well as OBRA compliance.
    • Demonstrates clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements.
    • Ability to make independent decisions and follow through with limited supervision.
    • Knowledgeable and understanding of state and federal regulations and guidelines governing the practices of the facility.
    • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary care team.
    • Able to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including, members, family members, associates and personnel of outside agencies and organizations.
