  • Responsibilities

    We are currently seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Accounts Receivable Regional (Greater Chicago and Northern Illinois Region) who exhibits qualities of leadership, and management.  The primary purpose of this position is to train and assist business office managers on accurate and efficient billing practices in according with industry standards and guidelines.  The position will be responsible to monitor timely collections and billing of accounts receivable for multiple facilities and ensure accurate recording of revenue.  Person is expected to demonstrate Greystone’s values and quality of excellence including providing innovative ideas/results with the goal of continually improving systems and processes.


    • Oversee the billing/collections of  Business Office and can evaluate problems, work with staff to ensure a positive cash flow and days sales outstanding (DSO).  
    • Analyze and observe all the AR/BOM functions and processes to ensure maximum workflow and productivity, communicating and reporting deficiencies as well as best practices to management.
    • Provide training and support to the Business Office as needed
    • Coordinate month-end billing and close process when required.
    • Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.


    • Has the ability to communicate well with others, both written and orally.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in Business Office functions and billing
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; and/or three (3) years related experience in SNF Billing; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Knowledge of State and Federal billing regulations
    • Exhibits leadership potential and works well with peers.
    • Proven ability to quickly shift between tasks and meeting deadlines in assigned project or duties
    • Displays a positive attitude with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
