    Payroll Specialist

     

    Current Opportunities:

    (1) Full-Time opening

    (2) Part-Time opening  (Mon/Tue required; 2-10 hr. days or 3-8 hr. day schedule w/3rd day open)   FILLED 2/13/20

     

     

    Due to recent growth within Greystone, we are expanding our team.  As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be working in our corporate office providing accurate payroll processing for our company and all of it's various faciliites. 

     

     

    Job Duties:

    • Process payroll on a weekly basis for bi-weekly payroll functions
    • Assist in answering incoming calls to the Payroll Department
    • Validation of employee set up in the payroll and time management system
    • Work in Conjunction with the HR and Accounting departments on payroll related issues
    • Assist with payroll reporting analysis
    • Support the company’s HRM staff in payroll inquiries
    • All other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • 1-2 years payroll experience is desired, but not required. Will train the right individual
    • Familiarity with the field concepts, practices and procedures such as time keeping system, third party payroll vendor system, state and federal wage hour laws, payroll processing, 401(k) submissions and reconciliations is helpful.
    • Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
    • Superior customer service skills
    • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
    • Thrives in a team environment
    • High level of integrity and professionalism and maintain confidential information
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical problem-solving skills required.
