    Greystone Healthcare Management  has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant.    The Staff Accountant will be responsible for analyzing financial records, prepare adjusting journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and maintain support for the financial numbers.  This position will assist the accounting manager as needed and respond to information requests for internal and auditing purposes.

    The successful candidate should be able to accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

    Primary responsibilities will include: 

    • Maintain financial reports, records and general ledger accounts
    • Review actual numbers to budget and prepare accruals and adjusting journal entries
    • Prepare monthly account reconciliations
    • Maintain fixed asset activity
    • Meet reporting deadlines and assist with month end close
    • Prepare sales tax returns
    • Respond to information requests and various reports as needed
    • Assist the accounting manager as needed


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (required)
    • 2+ years’ experience in accounting
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
    • Experience with accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Great Plains, etc.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and workflow to meet deadlines
    • Team player
